The Story
Project No. 8613 began as a standard Arizona development build, clean and functional but lacking a sense of soul. The client desired a home that felt collected and full of character, something that echoed the quiet romance of European interiors while still rooted in Scottsdale living.
What began as blank drywall and uniform finishes became a canvas for intention. Our vision for this home drew on European heritage details: herringbone oak floors laid with precision, soft applied moldings tracing the walls, and bespoke millwork that added depth and dimension.
Every design choice was about giving the home an identity beyond its development origins. Applied paneling elevated the entry, while a tonal, muted palette added restraint and romance. Layered textures - oak, stone, millwork - grounded the interiors in warmth and history, softening the sharp edges of its original construction.
The result is a home that no longer reads as “builder-grade,” but instead as timeless and intentional. A Scottsdale residence given a distinct voice - one that blends desert light with European softness.
