A new build given soul — layered with texture, tone, and the quiet confidence of restraint.

The Story

Project No. 6730 was a ground-up new construction in Paradise Valley, Arizona. Our role extended from architectural interior design to full-service furnishings, ensuring the home would not only be built with precision but also lived in with softness. Every choice - from the flow of the floor plan to the final placement of objects - was guided by the belief that new construction can feel soulful, storied, and timeless.

New construction often risks feeling stark or anonymous. Project No. 6730 was the opposite - a chance to craft identity from blueprint to final detail. Working alongside the builder and architect, Maeve Design Collective led the interior vision with a focus on European restraint: tonal layers, sculptural silhouettes, and finishes that grow richer with time.

The heart of the home is its kitchen - a study in balance. Soft stone counters meet warm wood cabinetry, while natural light moves across plaster walls with quiet rhythm. The living spaces were designed to feel both expansive and intimate: soaring ceilings balanced by muted, tactile surfaces that invite touch and gathering.

Every bathroom became its own moment - plastered walls, bespoke vanities, and fixtures chosen as much for their artistry as their utility. The powder bath in particular reads as a jewel box, small in scale yet monumental in presence.

Furniture selections were approached as curation, not consumption. Pieces were chosen as if collected over time - linen-upholstered seating, sculptural side tables, and lighting that casts as much atmosphere as illumination.

The result is a Paradise Valley residence that transcends its new build status. Project No. 6730 is a home that feels lived-in from the start: grounded in materiality, softened by tone, and destined to endure with grace.
